        Notes

            -
° In Leviticus, the nation of Israel remains in the same geographical location,
near Mt. Sinai which covers approximately two months of history
° This book was given to Israel for direction in living as a holy nation in
fellowship with a holy God. It was a code of law for the total well-being
                of Israel—physical, moral, and spiritual.
°All the offerings, ceremonies, and laws served to constantly remind Israel
                that God is entirely holy.
° All of the following subject were given to teach spiritual truth: Offering
and Sacrifice, Immorality and Sin, Civil Responsibility, Cleansing, Holy Days
and Feast, Observances, and Blessings and Punishments.
° This book teaches that the way to God is by sacrifice where eventually Jesus
                is the perfect sacrifice.
° This book also teaches that to walk with God is by holiness.
                ° Genesis:  Man Sinned
