                1. MY heart is inditing a good matter: I speak
of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.

                    -
                        Hebrew

                            - רָחַשׁ לִבִּי דָּבָר טוֹב אֹמֵר אָנִי מַעֲשַׂי לְמֶלֶךְ לְשׁוֹנִי עֵט סוֹפֵר מָהִיר׃

            -
                2. Thou art fairer than the children of men: grace is poured into thy lips; therefore
God hath blessed thee for ever.

                        Hebrew

                            - יָפְיָפִיתָ מִבְּנֵי אָדָם הוּצַק חֵן בְּשְׂפְתוֹתֶיךָ עַל־כֵּן בֵּרַכְךָ אֱלֹהִים לְעוֹלָם׃

                    -
                        Hebrew

                            - חֲגוֹר־חַרְבְּךָ עַל־ יָרֵךְ גִּבּוֹר הוֹדְךָ וַהֲדָרֶךָ׃

            -
4.↓ And in thy majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness and righteousness, and thy right hand
                shall teach thee terrible things.

                    -
                        Hebrew

                            - וַהֲדָרְךָ צְלַח רְכַב עַל־דְּבַר־אֱמֶת וְעַנְוָה־ צֶדֶק וְתוֹרְךָ נוֹרָאוֹת יְמִינֶךָ׃

                    -
                        Notes

                            -
° When I first read this in the KJV, I was thinking how could Christ do a terrible thing with his right hand
° I then looked at the Amplified version and it said awesome things. So, that made me curious
° How can this be translated so differently
° I then looked at the Strong's Concordance. It had several definiations. But how to pick the correct one
° After researching the difference between the verb type Qal, Niphal, and Piel, I determined that Niphal version was the correct usage
° Becasue the Hebrew word נוֹרָאוֹת began with the letter נ
                                ° Niphalְ נ prefix; Pathach stem vowel
                                ° https://hebrew.billmounce.com/BasicsBiblicalHebrew-12.pdf page 3.
                                ° (Niphal)

                                    - to be fearful, be dreadful, be feared

                                    - to cause astonishment and awe, be held in awe

                                    - to inspire reverence or godly fear or awe

° So, this should say "Thy right hand shall teach thee to inspire reverence or godly fear or awe."
                                ° Much better

            -
                5. Thine arrows are sharp in the heart of the king's enemies; whereby the people fall under thee.
