° There are five major warnings to believers in the book of Hebrews1. Danger of drifting 2:1 - 2:4 2. Danger of hardening the heart 3:7 - 4:13 3. Danger of failing to mature 5:11 - 6:20 4. Danger of willful sin 10:26 - 10:39 5. Ultimately culminates with apostasy 12:25 - 12:29 -
Each warning builds upon the previous and Ultimately culminates with apostasy.

Could the progression of these five major warnings move like a snake?
It Moves up and down like a snake. (Act 17:11 applies!)
Hebrews gives the warning, Revelation gives the outcome;
Revelation 3:16—So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
Lukewarm is refusing and being indifferent to God. Why does God give the warning? To encourage us to press on and obtain our inheritance! Finish the journey to Zion!MF-NCC
